WMPJ celebrates serving the legal needs of our communities for 150 years.  The Firm dates back to 1862, with the name changing over time to reflect the partners in the Firm:

• 1862-1877 - Kilgour and Manahan
• 1877-1913 - Manahan and Ward
• 1913-1926 - Ward, Ward and Ward
• 1926-1939 - Ward, Ward and Scheineman
• 1939-1968 - Ward and Ward
• 1968-1969 - Ward, Ward, Castendyck and Murray
• 1969-1979 - Ward, Ward, Castendyck, Murray and Pace
• 1979-1983 - Ward, Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson
• 1983-1984 - Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson
• 1984-present - Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson, P.C.

WMPJ now has offices in Sterling, Dixon, Milledgeville and Erie and our 18 attorneys practice throughout Northwest Illinois.
