Attorney Dan Hawkins' practice emphasis areas are probate, trust and estate planning, real estate, and school law.

Education

Mr. Hawkins earned his law degree from Northern Illinois University in 1990, where he graduated magna cum laude. He received his B.A. with honors from the University of Illinois in 1987.

Bar Admissions & Associations

Mr. Hawkins was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1990. He is also admitted to the United States District Court - Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Whiteside County Bar Association.

Mr. Hawkins was a member of the Northern Illinois Law Review, where he served as an Assistant Editor, 1989-90. In addition, he was a member of the Northern Illinois Moot Court team.

Mr. Hawkins currently serves on the Elder Law Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association. He currently serves as Whiteside County Public Administrator and Guardian, 1994-present. He was Secretary to the Whiteside County Bar Association in 1991.
