Attorney John Guzzardo's practice emphasis areas are civil litigation, personal injury, workers' compensation, and employment litigation.
Education
Mr. Guzzardo earned his law degree from IIT / Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1983. He earned his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 1979.
Bar Admissions & Associations
Mr. Guzzardo was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1983. He is also admitted to the United States District Court - Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is a member of the Illinois State and Whiteside County bar associations.
Mr. Guzzardo has served as a Board Member to the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, 1994-2000. He currently serves as a Commissioner on the Hearing Board of the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission. He has served on the board of directors of Winning Wheels, Inc. and on the board and president of the Sterling-Rock Falls YMCA, St. Mary Catholic School, and Community Catholic School boards. He currently serves on the board and as treasurer of Rock River Valley Self Help Enterprises. He has been a licensed private pilot since 1995.
