Attorney Trent Bush represents businesses and individuals in a variety of matters with a focus on representing financial institutions and commercial litigation.
Education
Mr. Bush earned his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1999, where he graduated cum laude. He earned his undergraduate degree from Central College, Pella, Iowa, in 1995, where he was a member of the Alpha Zeta Mu Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude. While at Central College, Mr. Bush studied in Merida, Mexico and London, England, where he was a personal assistant to Mr. Keith Vaz, Member of Parliament.
Bar Admissions & Associations
Mr. Bush was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1999. He is also admitted to the United States District Court - Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois State and Whiteside County bar associations. Mr. Bush has served on the Illinois State Bar Association's Committee on Legal Technology since 2002 and served as its chair in 2009. He has been a speaker at numerous continuing legal education seminars on legal technology topics. In June 2011, he was appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court's Special Committee on E-Business.
Mr. Bush has been a board member of the United Way of Whiteside County since 2001; in 2005 he served as its president. He was a co-chair of the Morrison division campaign for six years. He is also a founding member of the Morrison Schools Foundation and currently serves as its president.
