Philip H. Ward and Ole B. Pace III, partners in the Sterling law firm of Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson, P.C., have been named to The Best Lawyers in America.
Published biannually since 1983, The Best Lawyers in America is widely regarded as the preeminent referral guide to the legal profession in the U.S. The Best Lawyers lists, representing 30 specialties in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., are compiled through an exhaustive peer-review survey in which thousands of top lawyers in the U.S. confidentially evaluate their peers. The current edition is based on more than 350,000 detailed evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers.
Ward, who concentrates his law practice in trust and estate planning, estate and trust administration, and real estate and business law, has written and lectured extensively in his areas of expertise. He is an elected Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and currently serves on its Business Planning and Transfer Tax Study committees.
Pace, who is the president-elect of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), is also secretary-treasurer of the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company, the state bar association’s captive insurance company. He concentrates his law practice in state and federal civil litigation, employment law, and school law.
