Mr. Zumdahl earned his law degree from the University of Illinois in 1975. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College in 1972, where he graduated with honors.

Mr. Zumdahl was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1975. He is a member of the Illinois State and Whiteside County bar associations.
Mr. Zumdahl has served as the Village Attorney for Milledgeville, Illinois, 1979-present. He has been involved with the Illinois State Bar Association, including the current newsletter editorfor the Trusts and Estates Section Council. He was recently appointed to the Editorial Board of the Illinois Bar Journal. Mr. Zumdahl is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
