Mr. Johnson earned his law degree from the University of Illinois in 1973, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1968. Bar Admissions & Associations
Mr. Johnson was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1973. He is a member of the Illinois State and Whiteside County bar associations. Mr. Johnson has served as President to the Whiteside County Bar Association (1990-91). In addition, he has served in various capacities within the Illinois State Bar Association, including: General Practice Section, Member of Council, 1975-80, Chairman, 1978-79; Member, Standing Committee on Legislation, 1977-78; Member of Council, Ag Law Section, 1991-94; Member of Council, Real Estate Law Section, 1995-present, Chairman, 2004-2005. Mr. Johnson has been involved with a variety of other organizations, including: Sterling-Rock Falls Jaycees, Past President; Sinnissippi Mental Health Center, Past President, Board of Directors; Sterling Chamber of Commerce, Past President; Messiah Lutheran Church, Board of Elders, Chairman.
